Chest & Back app:
Part of the Women’s Home Workout App Series. Now available on iPhone & iPad.
Women that live a busy lifestyle can’t always make it to the gym. This app contains 56 exercise and workout videos that focus on the chest and back and can be done at home using minimal or no equipment.
Start your training with 26 back and 23 chest exercise videos. Move on to 7 full-round workout videos that utilize the exact same exercises you learned in the training videos.
Meet Shannon Ashley. A single mother of two, she knows it’s not always possible to make it to the gym, so she put together this series for those that want to stay in shape at home.
The videos in this app were filmed at home – to show you what can be accomplished in yours.
Many of the exercises in the Women’s Home Workout Series of apps require no equipment at all (bodyweight only).
The rest of the exercises use minimal equipment. This equipment is all very inexpensive at discount stores like TJ Maxx, Ross, or Marshalls:
If you can’t find resistance bands, we highly reccommend one of the following two sets from Bodylastics:
No. This app is intended as an introduction and a reference guide. In general, the exercises are put in the specific workout order for a reason.
Shannon provides personal training and group classes in the San Diego area.
You can find out more at her website, Encinitas Trainer.
So if you own both devices, you can put it on both devices with a single purchase.
This app was build for iOS 8 or later.
The initial download is less than 20MB.
Upon retrieval by WiFi or data connection, videos are stored on your device. This increases the size of the app – up to a total size of 202MB.
However, we have purposely limited video quality to minimize the space taken up on your device. Do you really need full HD video for this anyway? 🙂
You can remove these videos in the Settings menu, or by simply uninstalling the app from your device.
Always consult with a doctor prior to starting any training regimine. This app is intended as a low-cost introduction to the subject.
Always start with a minimal amount of weight and work your way up safely. Until you gain experience, beginning with no weight at all is perfectly acceptable. Working out safely is always the number one priority. If any exercise ever hurts, stop what you are doing immediately, and get help.
Again: Always consult with a doctor prior to starting any training regimine.
If while performing any exercise you experience pain, stop what you are doing immediately and get help from an expert.
These exercises are meant to be challenging, and at times uncomfortable – but never painful.
Pain is your body’s way of saying, “you’re doing it wrong”.
Solution: Get on a strong WiFi connection and re-download all the videos.
If your WiFi connection was interrupted during video download – you might have only downloaded part of the video.
To fix this, first make sure you are on a strong WiFi connection.
Second, launch the app and tap Settings, then tap Remove All Videos, Yes, then Close.
Finally, tap Download All Videos and wait until you see they have all been downloaded. This can take up to 5 minutes.
Solution: Be fair. Email us first.

Solution: Turn off the mute switch (or mute icon). Disable Bluetooth.
By default, the “side switch” (located near the volume controls of your device) functions to mute most sounds on your device. If you look at it and see the color red, your switch is in the wrong position.
When you change the switch position, if you see a lock icon (not a bell icon) appear on your screen, then your side switch is set to “lock screen rotation”.
In this case, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access the Control Center, then tap the mute icon (the bell) so that it is black (not white).
If you have a connected Bluetooth headset, the sound might be playing though that. Simply disable your Bluetooth.
