This app focuses on yoga stretches specifically for athletes, to help keep the body in top performing shape. It doesn’t matter if you are a linebacker, a swimmer, a golfer, or a ping pong player – if you are an athlete, there’s something here for you.
Want to quickly stretch a specific area of the body? 16 quick stretch videos get right down to it, so you can release tension in the most common areas athletes carry it.
Getting more involved, there are 2 warm ups, and 5 full area-specific yoga routines, and a cool down. Alyssa performs the movements right along with you.
Alyssa Brown found yoga after an injury in 1998. As her physical body began to heal, she noticed shifts in her emotional & mental state. She recognized quickly that yoga not only repaired her body & focused her mind, but improved her overall athletic performance.
Alyssa began teaching yoga in 2006 and holds an E-RYT Yoga Alliance Certification. She is passionate about yoga anatomy, injury prevention & healing through yoga.
Sun Salutations are used in yoga to connect with your breath & warm up the body to prepare for deeper stretching.
Included are 2 different sequences. Each sequence has an instructional/training video, and a quick runthrough video when you have the sequence down.
When you’re done, simply replay the video for subsequent rounds!

Most of the exercises in this app require no equipment at all (bodyweight only).
The rest of the exercises use minimal equipment.
No. This app is intended as an introduction and a reference guide.
In general, the exercises are put in the specific workout order for a reason (be it a full body workout, curbing fatigue, a progression, etc).
So if you own both devices, you can put it on both devices with a single purchase.
This app was build for iOS 8 or later.
The initial download is less than 20MB.
Upon retrieval by WiFi or data connection, videos are stored on your device. The videos are only 279MB.
We have purposely limited video quality to minimize the space taken up on your device. Do you really need full HD video for this anyway? 🙂
You can remove these videos in the Settings menu, or by simply uninstalling the app from your device.
If while performing any exercise you experience pain, stop what you are doing immediately and get help from an expert.
Exercise (and mental exercise) is meant to be challenging, and at times uncomfortable – but never painful.
Pain is your body’s way of saying, “you’re doing it wrong”.
Solution: Get on a strong WiFi connection and re-download all the videos.
If your WiFi connection was interrupted during video download – you might have only downloaded part of the video.
To fix this, first make sure you are on a strong WiFi connection.
Second, launch the app and tap Settings, then tap Remove All Videos, Yes, then Close.
Finally, tap Download All Videos and wait until you see they have all been downloaded. This can take up to 5 minutes.

If you have a connected Bluetooth headset, the sound might be playing though that. Simply disable your Bluetooth.
Sound on the videos should play regardless of the side switch position.
